Discovery Dog helps us with our Science work. We have been learning about different materials. We tested them to see if they were metal.
In the Spring term we are learning about Hot and Cold.
We had to make some chocolate buttons to put on a Birthday Cake. Miss Worsnop gave us some chocolate pieces. We had to decide how to melt them.
We put our containers over hot water and left it there till the chocolate melted. Then we painted the chocolate onto greaseproof paper. When the chocolate set we took them off the paper. Miss Worsnop let us eat them!
Naughty Nora had taken the bears and frozen them in ice! We had discussion in our group to decide how to rescue our bear.
We rescued them all!
Summer Term
We have been learning all about Minibeasts. Mrs Pearce took us on a minibeast hunt in the field. We found worms, woodlice, spiders, caterpilliars.
