This week in Class 5 we have been competing against our classmates to see who would be suited to represent our school in the local 24 Game Challenge.
This challenge takes place at Heath Training Centre on Thursday 18th March.
The 24 Game is a competition where in front of the competitors is placed a card with 4 numbers on it. The aim of the game is to work out, using your maths knowledge, how to use all 4 numbers to make a total of 24, (sometimes this is a lot easier said than done!).
The person who works the answer out first wins that round of the game.
We've had lots of fun in Class 5 with our tounament which finally lead to a semi-final and a concluding final.
Cngratulations to all the pupils who took part and especially to Ben, Thomas, Esme and Joseph, who were our 4 finalists.
After a nailbiting and very close call, Joseph gained the victory and as a result, will represent our school in the Inter-Schools Challenge on Thursday.
Good Luck Joseph!!!!
