The Making Of

Jack and the Beanstalk

Our first job was writing some poetry about the story. Here we are thinking of our ideas with our teacher Mrs Webb. We then wrote our class poems.

Mrs Pearce composed some music to go with the poems.

Here we are learning to sing them a line at a time.

We now have songs to go with our story!

Here we are recording the words and adding our sound effects to the story.

Can you guess who is mooing like a cow?

Can you hear the instuments we used when you listen to our story.

Can you guess who is snoring like a giant?

When the giant falls off the beanstalk we make a big crash with the cymbal. Look at us all laughing and covering our ears! You can hear us laughing on the CD too!

Here are some of us singing the last song. We had to sing three different parts in the last verse.

Can you hear all the parts on the CD? There is the giant's cross voice and Jack's worried mum telling Jack to Climb!
