Class 4's History topic for this half term is 'What it was like for Children inWorld War Two'.This includes learning about rationing, the Blitz, being evacuated. We're also learning about how life was for children in countries, such as England, Denmark, Germany and Holland .

As an extension to our studies, we took a collection of World War Two songs, including 'Pack Up Your Troubles' and 'It's a Long Way to Tipperary', to entertain the residents of Higgins Close Retirement Home. Our class also donated a variety of different foods that we made into 3 lovely hampers for the residents of Higgins Close.
