Class 5 Residential 2011

On Monday 6th June 2011, most year 5 and 6 pupils set off for our yearly residential adventure to Scarborough.

On the way, we are very lucky to be able to stop off at Nigel Tinkler's racing stables. Nigel's second in command, Sam, very kindly showed us around the stables.

From here we travel to our hotel and home for the week. We unload our cases from the trailer and have our lunch.

And for our final stop of our very hectic first day, we set off for Whitby Abbey. A tour around the grounds and visitor centre, then off to the sea front for a bit of a bumpy sea voyage on the Bark Endeavour.

Tuesday was a quite a nice day until late afternoon, in terms of the weather.

Our first stop was at Cruckley Animal Farm - a firm favourite with all the children.
