Eco Warriors

Our Eco Warriors recently were invited to go to an eco-friendly conference at Aintree Racecourse along with our colleagues from our cluster of eco schools, Old Earth, Triangle, Bolton Brow and Christ Church.

 

Ideas to make our school more eco-friendly

 

• Solar panels to save energy
• Eco friendly light bulbs
• Recycle cans and plastic bottles
• Make products out of recycled items (paper, card, bottles, ECT…)
• Turn off all electrics when you don’t need to use them
• Use compost bins
• Turn off the computers when you are not using them

 

• Walk to school or ride on our bikes instead of using cars

• Using natural lights instead of electric ones

 

• Do less throwing away

 

• Save water by turning the tap off when nobody is using it
