Scarborough Residential June 2008

On Monday 2nd June 2008 most of the pupils in Class 5, along with Mr. Priestley, Mr. Bromley, Mrs. Popplewell and Mrs. Crossley, set off on the yearly adventure that is our residential trip to Scarborough.

ITINERAY

Monday 2nd June

a.m. - Depart school at 9.00am.

Visit racing stables and stud farm.

Travel to digs in Scarborough - unload.

p.m. - Visit to Whitby Abbey.

Boat trip on Bark Endeavour.

Evening - Safety talk/fire drill.

Bingo night - Mr.B's report.

Tuesday 3rd June

a.m. - Robin Hood's Bay - coastal walk and study.

p.m. - Team building activities - Scarborough beach (unfortunately cancelled due to bad weather) re-located to Tom Leonard Mining Museam.

Evening - Ten Pin Bowling and Mr. B's daily report.

Wednesday 4th June

Dalby Forest all day - orienteering and shelter building.

Evening - Disco and Mr. B's daily report.

Thursday 5th June

a.m. - Crookley Animal Farm.

p.m. - John Bull Rock Factory - tour and sweet making.

Shopping.

Evening - Talent Show and Mr. B's daily report.

Friday 6th June

Visit to Falconry Centre.

Arrive back at school approx. 3.00pm ( thoroughly exhausted!)
