On Thursday 13th November, Class 5 were very lucky to have the local author, Tom Palmer visit them.
He came whilst doing a link event with the local library to promote his new book 'Foul Play'.
The children enjoyed a quiz and a penalty shoot out, in which Mr. Preistley was volunteered to be the goalkeeper!!!!
Great fun was had by all!
At the end of the session children were given a red and yellow card - similar to the ones used in football games, and were given the opportunity to buy a signed copy of Tom's new book, 'Foul Play'.
