Healthy living Week Diary

This week (16-20th October) was 'healthy living' week. We have had a number of visitors in school including dance lessons, skipping lessons, netball sessions and talks from visitors. We had a competition to design a healthy meal or a healthy lunch box. we were happy that we could buy fruit at playtimes this week and lots of us loved the big oranges (even though they took ages to eat and we made a mess with them). We had our class assembly this week and so we based it on healthy living.
We enjoyed the whole week but we had some favourite parts.
Megan's favourite activity in the week was the dancing because it had lots of actions and these would help her to be healthy.
Jaymee-Leigh's favourite activity was the netball because there were lots of exercise involved.
Archie's favourite activity was designing the healthy meal on a plate. He did this for homework and he won the year 4 competition. His meal looked good enough to eat!
Ailis prefered the skipping as she is already a fantastic skipper.
The week was enjoyed by all and we learn't how to stay healthy. We are going to try and be as healthy as possible.
