In June 2009, Classes 4 and 5 had two fantastic day trips out to Ledston Estate Country Fayre.

Here we learned about country life, how animals are looked after and cared for and how we reuse and recycle our countryside to create a more caring and eco-friendly environment.

We watched:

sheep being sheared,

dog training to be used for controlling groups of animals instead of using vehicles

Sheep wool was used to make model sheep

(we even brought a few of our sheep back to school!)

Willow weaving

And lots more!

We had a great time and learned lots about our countryside!
