Visit to Germany 2009

 

On the 20th April 2009, Mr.Bromley, Miss.Melling and Mrs.Crossley went on a school comenius visit to our link school in Gelsenkirchen, Germany. Along with us on the visit were staff from Old Earth School and also staff from schools in Finland, Italy, Northern Ireland and Catalonia.

We had a full week of events and activities to take part in, which kept us extremely busy.

We visited the school, a primary school like ours, on a number of occassions.

On Tuesday, our first day in school, we were treated to an assembly by some of the pupils. This included a lot of musical activities such as singing and instrument playing. We all agreed that the children played the recorders beautifully, they must have had lot's of practise!
