Ice Skating to Halifax Ice Rink

At 12.30pm class 4 set off on a class trip to the ice rink in Halifax.  Mr Arrandale, Mrs Brearley, Mrs Pops and Miss Melling came with us.  Mr Bromley and Mrs Bell drove us there. It took a while to queue up when we got there.  However it was worth the wait!

The boots were difficult to put on and Shannon nearly had no boots to wear. We had a few accidents on the ice rink.  Some of us were a little wobberly to start but Mr Arrandale and Karis came to the rescue with there super skating skills.

As the afternoon went on, our skills got better and we started to speed up.  However Oliver Williams (The Tank) kept on speeding until he fell to the ice! Breaking his new Luddendenfoot badge.

Mr Arrandale showed us his super skating skills including the backward skate and spin. Karis tried to race but she didn't win. Lots of us had learnt new skills by the end of the session.

It was great fun skating around but we were all upset when we had to get off the ice.  We hope we can go again next year.
