Here at Luddendenfoot J&I school we have links with a number of schools in countries throughout Europe. We are currently linked directly with schools in France, Spain and Bulgaria through the British Council's Comenius Project.
In addition to our links across Europe we are working to forge links with a group of schools in Sri Lanka. The Sri Lankan schools are all in the city of Kandy.
We have received some work - the friendship huts, from some of the children at the school in Sri Lanka that we are building links with.
We also have a Partnership with local schools across Calderdale. These schools include: Shelf, Old Earth, Bolton Brow and Triangle. It is through these partnerships that we now have links with schools in Germany and Sweden.

ProJET is the title of our Comenius project in which we have been working in partnership with schools in Bulgaria, France, Spain and here in Calderdale. This project has been running for three years and has covered a range of topics. |

Our School is linked with a group of schools around a town called Vichy, in central France. The schools are called St Pont, Escurolle and Espinasse.

We have also made links with School 'UNISON' in St Petersburg in Russia and also with Buckhorn Elementary School in Tampa Bay, USA .

Our School has links with Mahamaya Girls College in Kandy Sri Lanka. The children have been exchanging work for two years and we are expecting Sri lankan teachers in school in April 2008.
